Diagnosis Demetia! Now What?
If you or a loved one has recieved the diagnosis of Alzhiemer's or another Dementia, you need to attend Diagnosis Demetia! Now What? This interactive, face to face work shop brings professionals in to answer your questions and bring you good, usable information.
There will be two identical workshops; one in LaGrange on Thursday, February 25th and one in Newnan on Thursday, March 25th. Both will be from 9:30a to 4p and lunch will be provided.

Care-Net
Care-Net is a division of the Rosalyn Carter Institute for Caregivers. Care-Net is an opportunity for professional and family caregivers to come together for support, inspiration and education. The Southern Crescent Care-Net includes Coweta, Troup, Carroll, Butts, Spalding, Lamar, Heard, Pike, Meriwether and Upson Counties.
The Southern Cresent Care-Net meets every other month on the 2nd Monday.
Care-Net dates for 2010 are:
March 8th, May10th, July 12th, September 13th and November 12th. Meetings are at 11:30am and lunch is always provided for $5. Locations vary.

Every 3rd Wednesday of each month Savannah Court in Newnan Georgia has an Alzheimer support group that meets at 2pm.

The first Tuesday of each month a cancer support group meets at First Baptist Church of Newnan at 10am..
